Whips VS Dipole

This is a range comparison between the AudioWireless DADM226 RF distribution box with lectrosonics SNA600a dipole antenna, & "Whip" antenna plugged directly into Lectrosonics SRb receiver. 

Each SRb is set to switching diversity mode, with the pilot tone on, & tuned to the same channel. The SMdB transmitter is placed on the hip, set to 50mw power, with a sanken Cos11D.

The SNA600a passive dipole antenna are placed 2.5 meters high. & connected to the audio wireless DADM226 distro via 5 meters of 50oHm BNC cable.

The Whips are standard articulated antenna, cut to 606, poking out of the bag. The recording was made with a sound devices 664.
